LAS VEGAS - Authorities have identified the suspected gunman who they say shot and killed two security guards inside a room at an Arizona Charlie's.
The incident happened Saturday morning near Decatur Boulevard and Charleston Boulevard.
A male and female security guard both in their 40's died while investigating a disturbance in the room, according to Lt. Dan McGrath, Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.
The suspected shooter, identified by police as 29-year-old Christopher Olague, then ran to a nearby neighborhood and attempted to break into a home with a woman and several children inside, McGrath said.
With officers in pursuit, the suspect shot himself in the head while on the property of the home. Medical responders rushed him to the hospital. He is not expected to survive, according to investigators.
