WBL notable pioneer, Hicks making Vegas home

WNBA has landed in Las Vegas, but before the WNBA there was the WBL.

The WBL was the first women's pro league in the United States that tipped off in 1979 and closed its doors in 1981. It lasted three years, but one of the leagues pioneers, Cardie Hicks still calls southern Nevada home.
